Master Crown’s World-wide Product Launch Events Hosted by Monarch Systems in Santa Fe, NM for Press and Dealers

They started arriving on June 19th. People from all the United States and Canada, writers, dealers, editors, enthusiasts, they all came for the premier of Siltech’s new Master Crown series of cables, the crown jewel in Siltech’s lineup of world-leading audio cables. The debut event, scheduled to happen on the afternoon of June 21st, 2024, would be hosted by Monarch Systems at the La Casita showroom space in Santa Fe, NM and would feature Gabi Rijnveld who made the trip to attend all the way from the Siltech factory in the Netherlands. Electronics and speakers at the very bleeding edge of audio esoterica were assembled to demonstrate the abilities of Master Crown. This was to be a wonderful release event.

Unfortunately, DHL had other plans.

Somewhere in Brussels, Belgium the plane that was carrying the shipment of the very first Master Crown cables produced—including serial number 00001—was disabled at an airport and wasn’t going anywhere.

Not to worry: Gabi brought prototype cables with her in her luggage and those gathered were able to hear the very special thing that is Master Crown. Even in prototype form, Siltech’s very highest performing cable series is a very obvious step up in performance from the Double and Triple Crown cables on hand for comparison. While most certainly not inexpensive, Master Crown features a host of improvements that give it exceptional value:

Despite the finished cables not arriving until the Monday after the two-day event had ended, the event imparted a huge amount of knowledge to those who attended (special thanks to Edwin Rijnveld of Siltech for his video conference calls with everyone) and an amazing arrangement of music, food, and drink was enjoyed. We even think we invented the Crown Royal Crown drink (combine 2 oz of Crown Royal with RC Cola and a slice of lemon in a tall glass of ice) while enjoying way too many biscochitos (Note: we don’t give up the biscochito recipe easily), New Mexican cuisine, and a bit of live flamenco.)
